03 — Infrastructure

Cloud infrastructure that's sized for you, not a sales quota.

Migration, management, and optimization for Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments — without paying for capacity you'll never touch.

What it is

The boring, important work of keeping your systems running well

"Move to the cloud" is easy advice and a genuinely complicated project. Done right, it means your team can work from anywhere, your files are backed up automatically, and you stop babysitting a physical server that hums in a closet somewhere. Done wrong, it's an expensive mess of subscriptions nobody remembers signing up for.

We handle the whole lifecycle: planning what should move and what shouldn't, migrating it without breaking your Tuesday, and then managing it going forward — because cloud infrastructure isn't a project with an end date, it's an ongoing relationship with your bill and your uptime.

What's included

From "let's move it" to "it's handled"

Cloud migration

A planned, tested move to the cloud — scheduled around your business, not around ours.

Microsoft 365 & Azure

Setup, licensing, and ongoing management so your team gets the tools without the tab-hunting.

AWS & hybrid environments

Whether it's all-cloud or a mix with on-premises servers, we manage it as one system.

Server management

Patching, monitoring, and maintenance so nothing goes stale or unsupported.

Cost optimization

Regular reviews to right-size resources — so you're not quietly paying for last year's peak usage.

Uptime monitoring

Performance and availability watched continuously, with alerts before users notice a slowdown.

Why it matters

Signs your cloud setup happened by accident, not by design

Mystery subscriptions

Nobody's quite sure what half the line items on the cloud bill actually do.

Files everywhere

Some things live in email, some in three different cloud drives, none of it backed up consistently.

One aging server

Everything depends on a physical machine that's older than some of your employees.

Remote work is a workaround

Working from home means VPN headaches instead of just... working.

The Good Hunter difference

Cloud infrastructure sized honestly, not upsold aggressively

Platform-agnostic advice

We recommend what fits your business, not whichever vendor pays us the best referral fee.

Migrations that don't break your week

Planned cutovers, tested rollbacks, and communication before anything moves — no surprise downtime.

Ongoing cost reviews

We actively look for ways to shrink your cloud bill, not just ways to grow it.

Questions we hear a lot

Cloud & infrastructure, plainly explained

Is the cloud actually cheaper than what we're running now?

It depends on how it's set up. Done well, cloud infrastructure trades big upfront hardware costs for a predictable monthly bill, and you stop paying to maintain servers in a closet. Done poorly, costs can creep up quietly. Part of our job is sizing things correctly from the start and reviewing spend regularly so you're never overpaying for capacity you don't use.

We already have servers on-site — do we have to move everything?

No. A lot of our clients run hybrid environments — some workloads in the cloud, some on-premises — because that's what actually fits their business. We help you figure out what should move, what shouldn't, and manage both halves as one coherent system.

How long does a cloud migration actually take?

It varies with how much you're moving, but most small-to-mid-sized business migrations happen over a few weeks, scheduled around your busy periods, with minimal disruption to daily work. We plan the cutover carefully so your team isn't locked out mid-project.

What's included in ongoing cloud management?

Monitoring for performance and cost, security configuration, user access management, backups, and regular reviews to make sure you're only paying for resources you're actually using. It's not a one-time move and walk away — it's ongoing upkeep.

Do you work with Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS, or just one?

All three, plus hybrid setups that combine them with on-premises infrastructure. We'll recommend whichever fits your business rather than pushing whichever platform we happen to prefer.
